개념 설명


 키 확장 단계 외에도 모든 단계를 스케치했다. SubBytes가 혼동을 제공하고 ShiftRows와 MixColumns가 확산을 제공하는 방법과 이 두 속성이 어떻게 함께 작동하여 상태 행렬에 비선형 변환을 반복적으로 순환시키는지 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 AddRoundKey는 이 substitution-permutation 네트워크에 key를 시드로 하여 암호를 keyed permutation으로 만든다.

 

복호화에는 "Structure of AES" 챌린지에 설명된 단계를 역으로 수행하여 역연산을 적용하는 것이 포함된다. 여전히 KeyExpansion(키 확장) 을 먼저 실행해야 하며 라운드 키는 역순으로 사용된다는 점에 유의해야 한다. XOR에는 self-inverse(자기 반전) 속성이 있기 때문에 AddRoundKey와 그 역은 동일하다.

 

우리는 키 확장(KeyExpansion) 코드와 AES-128로 적절하게 암호화된 암호 텍스트를 제공했다. 지금까지 코딩한 모든 빌딩 블록을 복사하고 다이어그램에 표시된 단계를 구현하는 복호화 함수를 완성하여라. 해독한 평문이 플래그이다.

 

이 연습에 사용된 코드는 Bo Zhu의 '매우 간단한 파이썬 AES구현(Super Simple python AES)' 에서 가져온 것이므로 여기에 라이선스를 재현했다.

expand key (키 스케줄)과정은 다음 글에서 설명하겠다.

여기서는 암호화 과정을 역으로

수행하여 복호화한다. 이 전 과정들을 각각 수행하기 위해서 함수를 만들었던걸 가져다 쓰거나 일부 수정한다.

그렇게 해서 그림에 나온대로 과정을 수행하면 된다.

이 문제를 통해서 expand key과정으로 미리 라운드 키를 생성해둔다는 것을 알았다. rcon에 대해서는 왜 0x80다음에 0x1b가 되는지 잘은 모르겠다..
